What’s better than having someone that can put together a portal in Slate? Having someone that can put together a portal and take it to the next level. Chris Carl is more than just a portal expert. He knows the importance of making each portal a one-stop-shop for students to know their next steps, learn more about your institution, and connect with faculty and staff. From incorporating their admissions checklist to embedding your social media, Chris makes sure your students have plenty of resources to feel up to date and connected with your institution. Plus, he knows that appearance is key with students, so he works closely with our Creative Division to make sure every portal stands out and aligns perfectly with your institution’s brand identity. When it comes to creating a one-of-a-kind student portal, Chris Carl is your guy.
When he’s not taking portals to new heights, you can find Chris:
1. Jamming out to Dave Matthews Band and Bruce Springsteen.
2. Spending weekends with his wife, Megan, adorable baby son, Brayden, and his dogs Bella and Bailey.
3. Watching “The Office” for the 1,000th time.
4. Staying active by playing basketball.
5. Enjoying way too many hours playing video games.
His favorite moments at Underscore so far? Playing games and chatting with coworkers during our virtual happy hours! Fingers crossed that we get to have more in-person happy hours this year!
The confidant. Everyone needs someone that is ready and willing to lend a helping hand. That's Morgan's specialty. She will stop at nothing to make sure both our partners and staff always have someone to come to when they're not sure. From double-checking invoices to jumping in on projects, Morgan finds every opportunity to act as a resource to our partners and our team. When she's not creating documentation or making a Chipotle run, you can probably find her being our resident social butterfly planning social events and finding new ways to embarrass our CEO.
